Aho Architects specializes in designing new construction and renovations for educational institutions, including early childhood, K-12, and two-year colleges and universities. We’ve completed more than 250 educational facility projects with construction budgets ranging from $100K to $35M. Educational facilities account for 44% of our work, and this is a particularly meaningful type of project for us.
Our expertise and quality of service are reflected in the fact that we have averaged 14.4 projects per higher education client, with four of our college clients awarding us more than 30 projects each. We are honored to have served 60% of the 24 community colleges in our home state and have been awarded multiple projects by every institution we have served.
We find it invigorating to design places where students grow and where learning and research happen. Our work for educational institutions has included master planning, campus infrastructure and support functions, capital improvements, athletic facilities, vocational/career technical spaces, general academic facilities, comprehensive K-12 schools, and highly technical college and university buildings.
